April 2 – Maundy Thursday, The Loving Way
6:00 PM – Soup & Bread Supper in Fellowship Hall
Our Maundy Thursday observance begins with a soup supper and continues, accompanied by the soundtrack from the film The Way, as a shared pilgrimage through prayer stations reflecting on Jesus’ last supper, his journey to the cross, and our own pilgrimage of grief, hope, and love.
· The worship services concludes with reading from the gospel of John about the arrest, trial, and crucifixion of Jesus.
· “It’s the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown” will be shown in the Nursery, staffed by our Nursery Attendant and Sunday School Coordinator for children of parents who want to participate in this Holy Week service.
April 5 – Easter Sunday (not a Communion Sunday)
6:00 AM Easter Sunrise Service
At the Genes’ residence, corner of Rt 155 & Tuttle Rd. Enter on barn driveway on Tuttle and park at the barn. Led by Diane Spires, CMM.
7:00 AM Easter Breakfast in Fellowship Hall - all are welcome.
9:30 AM Sanctuary Service
· Adult Choir, Bell Choir, Brass Trio, and Timpani
· Sunday School for children K-5 (starts at 9:30 AM in Fellowship Hall, will go outside weather permitting)
· Nursery available for children 4 and under
April 12 – Second Sunday of Easter led by The Rev. Larry Brickner-Wood
· Spirit & Song Sunday
· Sunday School for children K-5
· Nursery available for children 4 and under
April 19 – Third Sunday of Easter
· Blended Sunday (Spirit & Song and Adult Choir sing)
· Intergenerational worship
· Nursery available for children 4 and under
Spring Congregational Meeting following worship
April 26 – Earth Day Sunday, led by the Inside Outside Group
· Café Church
· Service theme based on Discovering The Spiritual Wisdom of Trees by Beth Norcross and Leah Rampy
